With Elimination Chamber in the rear view mirror and Wrestlemania 34 less than 6 weeks away, things are coming together as the match card shapes up. I personally enjoyed the Elimination Pay Per View. So far my intuitions about Wrestlemania are starting to make me feel like I'm physic LOL. Tonight’s show would start off with Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss and her new "protector" Mickie James making their way to the ring so that Bliss could gloat about her defense of her title at Elimination Chamber. Alexa would express her gratitude to James while trash talking the other four ladies involved in the match before mentioning her plans to decimate Asuka at Wrestlemania. On cue Asuka would make her way to the ring walking with no apparent pain from the night before. Bliss would taunt Asuka more before calling out Nia Jax to finish Asuka off before their match in 6 weeks. The numbers game would prove to be too much as Nia, James and Bliss attacked The Empress of Tomorrow. Bayley and Sasha Banks would emerge from the back to help Asuka but Jax would prove to be more powerful leaving Asuka, Sasha and Bayley laying in the ring as Team Bliss exited the ring. During the commercial break Raw GM Kurt Angle would make the first match of the night.....
6 Woman Tag Team Match
With Sasha and Bayley still not on the same page, the two women would continue to show their distaste for one another with hard tag ins, non tags and ugly looks LOL. Anybody get the license number on the truck that hit Sasha? Nia Jax is the most powerful woman on the roster and she displayed it tonight. The team of Bayley, Banks and Asuka would pick up the win as Asuka would submit Mickie James with an Armbar sending a message that not only is she ready for Wrestlemania but NO ONE IS READY FOR ASUKA!
John Cena Promo
After losing in the main event at Elimination Chamber, John Cena doesn't know what his Wrestlemania fate is but lucky for him I have the solution.... Time for Heel Turn John! Cena would make his way to the ring and do his normal I failed you, woe is me, knocked down get back up speech before unveiling his plan to be apart of Wrestlemania. Saying it was something that he should have done a long time ago, Cena would call out non other than The Undertaker for a match at the grandest stage of them all. We all know this will never happen though so he unveiled his true plan to make an appearance on SmackDown Live tomorrow to earn a Mania opportunity. Anybody else feel sorry for Cena? Good Moving On!
Bray Wyatt Vs Heath Slater
The match would never start due to Bray laying waste to both Heath Slater and Rhino. Bray would then express how Matt Hardy had made him injure an innocent man. Honestly if I'd been beaten by a man who moves around the ring like he's wearing thousand pound boots I'd be upset too LOL. Apparently The Eater of Worlds is not yet ready to call off the rivalry between he and Matt Hardy (Called It) as he stated that they would face each other again.
The Miz and The Miztourage Promo
Mr. Hollywood himself and his two "goons" would make their way to the ring and trash the city of Anaheim LOL. Though I may not be the biggest fan of The Miz I will admit his charisma is through the roof and he may well be the greatest IC Champion ever or at least my generation. Voicing his displeasure with Kurt Angle and the disrespect he receives as Intercontinental Champion, Miz would go on to say that he doesn't need to main event Wrestlemania because he still holds the IC title. Hoping to figure out what his role will be at Wrestlemania, Miz would threaten his unknown opponent with a beating. Seth Rollins would make his way to the ring for an apparent match with the Champ, leading most to believe that Seth would be his opponent at Mania. Seth would go on to win the match by hitting a corner to corner frog splash and Finn Balor’s music would hit. Seems as if Kurt Angle has good plans for the A-Lister and his title. The Miztourage would attack Finn as the match started forcing the referee to call for the bell and end the match in disqualification. The Club would come to the ring in defense of their Bullet Club brother and even the odds. Kurt Angle would then ban both the Miztourage and the Club from ringside and restart the match. The Miz would take another L as Balor would pick up a pin fall win after executing a Coup De Gras leaving us all wondering what Kurt has up his sleeve.
Roman Reigns Faces off with Brock Lesnar
After winning the Elimination Chamber and punching his ticket to Wrestlemania, Roman Reigns would make his way to the ring call out Brock for being a part time Universal Champion. Reigns would go on to tell the WWE Universe that Brock Lesnar was not in Anaheim because he doesn't respect him or us the fans. I think we already knew that Roman LOL. He'd finish his promo by saying that he doesn't respect Brock and that he isn't afraid of him either. He actually called him a BITCH which where I'm from is fighting words.
The Bar Vs Titus Worldwide (Again SMH)
2 out of 3 falls match after losing your title opportunity? The Raw tag division is clearly hurting with no real threat to dethrone the current champs. No one, I mean no one wants to see Titus O'Neil, Apollo Crews and their numbers expert Dana Brooke hold tag team gold. The Bar would make quick work of Titus Worldwide, hopefully sending them back to the bottom of the list of future challengers.
2018 Warrior Award
I watched this story having already heard about Jarrius "JJ" Robertson and I love the fact that the WWE is recognizing this young man by naming him the recipient of the 2018 Warrior Award. He is a true inspiration to us all and his will to fight and never give up is amazing. Congratulations JJ.
Braun Strowman Vs Elias
You'd think Elias would have learned after have a bass cello smashed across his back but he clearly isn't the smartest man or the most talented either. WWE=Walk With Elias is pretty clever though LOL. Braun like many of us fans is clearly not a fan of Elias's music thus provoking a performance from WWE's song bird. Strowman would toss Elias around like a rag doll before Elias would get himself disqualified by spraying Braun in the face with a fire extinguisher. The fight would carry on backstage with Elias running out of the arena as Braun screamed "I'M NOT FINISHED WITH YOU"
Ronda Rousey Promo
The contract signing of Rowdy Ronda Rousey turned out to be pretty interesting. No points to the Wrestlemania sign, no smiles and the COO gets put through a table. Now that's the Rousey I wanna see in the WWE. Triple H and Stephanie would make their way to the ring in order to explain the events of the previous night.
Apparently Kurt Angles illness has been upgraded to double pneumonia and he was delusional when he made his statements about why Ronda was being signed. Stephanie would insist that Kurt come to the ring to apologize but instead an angry Rousey would make her way to the ring with Kurt Angle tailing her and ultimately telling Ronda and the fans that he had made up the statements he blurted out last night. Now that that's cleared up the baddest woman on the planet would not be satisfied without Stephanie apologizing for slapping her. Facing the tough decision of apologizing or having her arm ripped off, Stephanie would apologize like she had stole money out of the church collection plate. As the bosses exited the ring Triple H would hit Kurt Angle with a vicious right hand. You can't but feel like Kurt and Ronda will team up to face Triple H and Stephanie at Mania now right?
