Heyman and The Beast

Ladies and Gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman….. And I fear that the relationship between me and my client The Reigning, Defending, Undisputed Universal Heavyweight Champion of the World BaaRock Lesnar may be coming to an end. You have to think that this is a thought going through the mind of one of if not the best managers in sports entertainment today. Last week on Monday Night Raw, the Beast made it clear that he had no intentions of doing anything else short of what he’s been doing for the last 489 days as champion and that’s getting paid! I’m not sure what kind of leverage Brock holds over Vince but whatever it is, he’s riding it until the wheels fall off and squeezing the life of WWE fans that are growing restless of this useless title reign part time champion. Kurt Angle issued Heyman an ultimatum last week on Raw in which Brock simply had to come to the ring and address the WWE universe or else Heyman would be fired. Lesnar wasn’t fazed by the announcement as he was seen throughout the show catching up on his reading and stating how he’d rather be home not watching the show on his couch. Paul would plead with the Beast to just walk to the ring and make his presence felt in which Lesnar would in turn give Heyman the new job of server at Longhorns by asking for a “steak dinner with steamed broccoli and mashed potatoes” on the side LOL. Roman Reigns, who will challenge the Beast at SummerSlam, was even escorted from the building for Brocks protection (As if he really needs it). Brock would eventually make his way to the ring as Paul Heyman pleaded for his job and deliver a huge F5 to Kurt Angle while also sending a message to his employee and not friend Heyman. Clearly Brock is setting the stage to drop the Universal Title to Reigns at SummerSlam and make his way back to the UFC especially since he made an appearance at UFC 226 in which he confronted current UFC Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier. I honestly forgot we had a Universal Champion since he only makes the rare appearance to defend his title when the stars align and the checks clear. I have this going either one or two ways, Roman finally defeats Brock and loses the title to either a Braun Strowman or Kevin Owens cash in of the Money In The Bank contract or Brock gives Reigns his usual ass kicking and retains the title and takes it to UFC. Either way it goes nobody including me wants to see Roman Reigns with the Universal Title. On another note, what happens with Paul Heyman once Brocks leaves? Does he assume another role in the company or does he trade in one UFC star for another? I’d love to see Ronda Rousey win the title at SummerSlam and the following night on Raw be introduced by Heyman as his new client. That could be huge for both Rousey and Heyman considering the much needed push the Women’s division is getting at the moment.
