Raw Opening

Raw began it's broadcast by taking a moment of silence to pay its respects for the victims and their families of the Parkland, Florida tragedy. I would like to personally offer my prayers and condolences everyone that was involved in this senseless event.

With no winner being decided to determine the 6th and final competitor in Sundays Elimination Chamber match, Raw GM Kurt Angle would announce that both Finn Balor and Seth Rollins would compete in the Chamber match. This will be the first time in the matches history that 7 men will compete, which means three superstars will start the match instead of the traditional two. The first match of the night would feature all 7 competitors in a gauntlet match.

Gauntlet Match

Although Braun Strowman defeated The Miz to win the Gauntlet. It was Seth Rollins who stole the show by putting on an amazing performance that may have created some momentum for the King Slayer leading up to Sunday. It is clear that the favorite to win the Elimination Match is Braun Strowman since he's looked at as the only superstar on the Raw roster who’s capable of dethroning the current WWE Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar.

If I had to chose, my personal pick to win the match is Roman Reigns. Reigns is clearly the next face of the WWE already becoming a Triple Crown and Grand Slam Champion since starting singles competition in 2014.

Hall Of Fame News

News would break that none other than Double J Jeff Jarrett will finally get his well deserved WWE Hall of Fame induction. Already inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame in 2015, you have to believe that this induction means so much more to Jeff.

Women’s Match

Looking to pick up some momentum before Sunday Nia Jax attacked Asuka from behind before delivering 3 leg drops to the empress of tomorrow. Personally, I am a fan of both Nia and Asuka but I would hate to see the undefeated streak come to an end. First Goldberg's streak, then Undertakers and now Asuka's streak is seriously in jeopardy. Asuka has beaten Nia before in NXT but I can't help but think that this time things will be different. With a shot at WrestleMania on the line, Nia is going to do whatever it takes to cash her ticket and join Asuka & her WrestleMania opponent in a triple threat Women's Championship match.

Tag Team Match

The Raw tag division has been shaken up since Sheamus and Cesaro regained the titles by beating Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan. With Dean Ambrose out with an injury and Seth on the hunt for the Universal title, Titus O'Neil and Apollo Crews have stepped up have had recent success over the tag champs. As a fan of the Prime Time Players with Darren Young gone, I believe Apollo is an equal if not better partner for Titus. A title shot should be coming with Apollo picking up a pin fall win over Cesaro.

The Woken Rivalry

The rivalry between Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy has been everything but good. With the absence of Jeff Hardy (due to injury), Matt has become "Woken" and looks to DELETE Bray on Sunday. Lets be honest, Matt has no chance of defeating the Eater of Worlds Sunday at Elimination Chamber. My only hope is for Jeff to rejoin his brother in the ring, so Matt can regain his sanity (LOL).

The Main Event

The main event of the night would feature the six female superstars competing in the first ever Women's Elimination Chamber match in which the current Raw Women's Champion Alexa Bliss will defend her title. Bliss has attempted to weasel her way out of the match but the WWE universe would have nothing to do with it as Kurt Angle would seek their approval over her favoritism tactic. The team of Bayley, Mickey James and Sasha Banks would pick up a win over Sonya Deville, Mandy Rose and Alexa Bliss. After the match was over Bayley and Sasha Banks would be attacked by the two members of Absolution but Bliss would be saved by her newly formed ally Mickey James. I can't help but wonder if this is part of Alexa’s plan to retain her title at Elimination Chamber. Guess we'll have to wait until Sunday to find out.
