Pre Show
Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows Vs The Miztourage In the efforts to hopefully shake up the Raw tag team division, the pre show match would feature two teams looking to make a run for the titles. The Miztourage would control the match early on by keeping Anderson away from his corner thus prohibiting an opportunity to tag in Gallows. Once a tag was finally made, Gallows would clean house before tagging Anderson back into the match to hit Curtis Axel with The Magic Killer to pick up the win. Backstage the former 2 time NXT Tag Team Champions The Revival would comment on how the match doesn't display their brand of tag team wrestling, thus leaving them unimpressed. 6 Woman Elimination Chamber Match
The first ever women’s elimination chamber match would not disappoint. With the members of Absolution controlling the early moments of the match by double teaming Bayley, the arrival of Sasha Banks made everyone feel like Bayley now had an ally. As displayed over the last month Sasha had no interest in forming any kind of team in the every woman for itself contest. She would eliminate Mandy Rose with a Bank Statement submission leaving DeVille to fend for herself. Mickey James would enter the match and execute a flying leap from the top of a chamber pod to eliminate DeVille but she herself would eliminated after receiving a BackStabber and a Bayley-to-Belly (Worst Finishing Move name ever) for her troubles. With the protector of Alexa Bliss gone, the Raw Women’s Champion refused to enter the match once her cage was opened forcing Bayley and Banks to chase her up, down and around the Chamber structure. With tensions running high between Banks and Bayley, Alexa was able to avoid most of the confrontation and watch her two opponents trade blows with one another. Bayley would hit Sasha with a Bayley-to-Belly off the second rope and be rolled up and pinned by the scouting Alexa Bliss. Bliss would take advantage of a mistake by Banks and hit her with a hanging DDT, picking up the win and retaining her championship. Titus Worldwide Vs The Bar
In recent weeks leading up to tonight’s Elimination Chamber, the Raw Tag Team Champions would be bested by Titus O'Neil and Apollo Crews. The tag champs would isolate and deliver a world of hurt on Apollo Crews. Once Apollo was finally able to make a tag Titus would enter the match and almost pick up a victory with his Clash of the Titus finisher before Cesaro would break up the count. O'Neil would tag in Crews and The Bar would take advantage by eliminating Titus from ringside, executing a blind tag and hitting Apollo with a Springboard White Noise to pick up the win and retain their tag team titles. Asuka Vs Nia Jax
Going unbeaten since her debut in 2015, Asuka would look to keep her 873 days and 246-0 streak alive. Nia Jax clearly had the size and strength advantage in this match, which she displayed as soon as the match started. Asuka relying on her speed and striking ability would not back down as she took the fight to Nia. Nia would control a majority of the match, countering Asuka's strikes and submission attempts. Asuka would catch a big break by countering a power bomb and rolling Jax up for the 1-2-3. With Asuka winning the match, the current Raw Women’s Champion now has an opponent for Wrestlemania. After the match Nia would attack Asuka and send her through the ring side barrier, leaving a smile on Alexa Bliss's face. Bliss does realize that Wrestlemania is 6 weeks away and I'm pretty sure Asuka will be ready to keep the streak alive and walk away the NEW RAW WOMENS CHAMPION. Ronda Rousey Contract Signing
Kurt Angle would make his way to the ring and be joined shortly thereafter by Raw general manager Stephanie McMahon and WWE COO Triple H. I may be the only person not excited by the signing of Rousey due to the way she ruined a perfectly good moment at the Royal Rumble pay per view. My option would change on the matter when Kurt Angle would explain to Ronda the reason why Triple H and Stephanie were so excited about signing the baddest woman on the planet. I'm guessing
they're still a little salty with the actions that occurred at Wrestlemania 31. Ronda would hold off on signing the contract and instead put Triple through the table. Stephanie looking to defend her husbands honor would slap Rousey. As the crowd began the YOU F*#KED UP chants, she would smartly exit the ring allowing Ronda to sign her contract. I smell Kurt Angle and Rousey teaming against the cerebral assassin and the witch (Stephanie in case you didn't know LOL) at Wrestlemania. Matt Hardy Vs Bray Wyatt
Not really sure what to make of this rivalry but the one upside to it is that it will hopefully be over with after this match. Matt Hardy would take Bray out of his game early by disappearing from the ring as Wyatt entered. Hoping to gain the upper hand early Matt would continue to play mind games, obviously confusing his opponent. I think I may agree with Booker T, Matt Hardy is going through a mid-life crisis LOL. The games would finally end and Bray would take advantage using his physicality and punishing nature. Through the graces of the wrestling gods, Matt Hardy would counter a Sister Abigail attempt before hitting Twist of Fate and picking up the win over Bray. With the match over and unlikely superstar the victor, I hate to say it but this rivalry is not over.
7 Man Elimination Chamber Match
The main event wouldn't be complete without two things, a winner and a ballad from the guitar sensation Elias. After delivering his usual quips and jokes about the hosting crowd, he'd perform a song before being interrupted by the Monster Among Men. As the match would start The Miz would attempt to create an alliance with Both Seth Rollins and Finn Balor before being attacked by both. Rollins and Balor would turn their focus to one another, giving Miz the occasional love tap. Cena would be the next entrant into the Chamber as he and Rollins would trash talk each other before continuing the in ring action.
The 5th entrant into the match would be the Big Dog, Roman Reigns. With all competitors down Roman would began picking his opponents apart one by one. GET THESE HANDS, GET THESE HANDS!!!!!!! Sorry I got caught up in the chants as the 6th competitor would finally enter the match. Braun would dominate the first 5 members with ease. sending Miz off the top of one of the plexiglass containers into the 4 in ring superstars. A running power slam followed by a pin would give us our first elimination of the night. As the buzzer would sound and the cage containing Elias would open, he would take the Alexa Bliss route and elect not to come out of the cage.
Looking to eliminate the biggest and strong man in the match Seth, John, Finn and Roman would team up and hit Strowman with a quadruple power bomb. Elias would see an opportunity and exit the cage looking to pick up the scraps. Bad decision Elias! He would eventually be the victim of a Power Slam and also be eliminated. John Cena eliminated! That one was for all the Cena lovers and haters LOL. After also eliminating Finn Balor, Stroman would appear to be in total control of the match. Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns would look to work together in hopes of getting rid of the Monster. After another great performance, Seth Rollins would be eliminated trying to hit Strowman with yet another Running Curb Stomp.
Braun and Roman would be the last two men remaining.
After the most dominating performance in the Chambers history, Braun Strowman’s night would come to an end as it took around 14 Superman Punches and 2 Spears before Roman Reigns would pick up the pin fall win. The celebration would be short lived once Braun realized he'd been beaten. Delivering two power slams and sending Reigns through a Chamber cage. I'm not really sure he felt like he won the match but he will be the one facing the Beast, Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania.
